Carlo Acutis, born in 1991 and died in 2006, continues to amaze and inspire people of all ages around the world. This young boy, deeply attached to the Eucharist, which he saw as his fast track to Heaven, led an intense and luminous life, marked by his living faith and his love for the Virgin Mary, whom he tenderly called “the woman of his life”.
Despite his young age, Carlo displayed a communicative joy, a great sense of humor and a special concern for the less fortunate. Fascinated by the miracles of the Eucharist, he created an international exhibition and website in several languages, with the aim of making these wonders known to as many people as possible.
Shortly after the launch of this project, Carlo was struck down by aggressive leukemia. His death shocked the world, but it also became a source of hope: many testimonies of graces and miracles attributed to his intercession soon appeared.
Since 2016, Marie and Jean-Baptiste Maillard, the authors of this biography, have been gathering these extraordinary accounts and sharing their own spiritual journey nourished by the figure of Carlo. They founded a website dedicated to his miracles (miraclesdecarlo.com) and broadcast videos on the Eucharistic miracles he loved so much. In 2018, they also launched an “invisible monastery” bearing his name, bringing together a community of prayer for souls met on the Internet.
This biography, rich in testimonials, authentic anecdotes and Carlo's own words, plunges us into the everyday world of this young Blessed. We also discover previously unpublished meditations and the spiritual fruits of his intercession: a genuine invitation to follow Christ with the fervor of those who burn with love.
