Numbered pewter replica of Saint Joseph's Oratory

The replicas of Saint-Joseph’s Oratory are entirely handmade and signed by a Quebec artist-sculptor, Louise St-Jean. This historic Montreal monument, in italian Renaissance style, is meticulously crafted at a scale of 1 : 1500. We admire all the exterior architectural attributes including the large portico,
the dome and the 4 towers, the transepts, the stairs and the cross. Bas-relief inscriptions of the name of Saint Joseph’s Oratory as well as the city of Montreal adom each side.

The miniatures were cast in pewter over 3 mm thick and covered with antique brass electrolyte plating followed by a protective varnish. They are placed on a black wooden base.

The limited edition of 90 signed and numbered copies makes it a collector’s work of remarkable value. Since each piece is made manually each may differ slightly from the photo. It therefore becomes it a unique artwork !
